Journey to Finding You.

It’s one thing to be living your story, but when you realize you’re one of the letters in the Alphabet Mafia (LGBTQ+), part of your story becomes tangled and can complicate your ability to find self-acceptance and self-worth.

Shame becomes a narrator and tells you things like, “no one will love you, you are not enough, you are too much, so tone it down.” These messages directly affect our ability to hold connection and find belonging with others.

It can be hard to accept that there are parts of ourselves that we wish were not there.

As a gay man, I am familiar with shame. Learning how to accept yourself and your story is key to moving towards belonging, connection, joy, and a meaningful life.

Together we will…

  • Identify the themes in your story that are causing you to doubt yourself.

  • Recognize the people trying to narrate your story with the message that your story is unreadable, uninteresting or unlovable.

  • Rewrite the limiting stories that have been keeping you small.

  • Discover that you are perfectly made with purpose in this world.

There are so many different parts of identity. I can help with:

  • The idea of coming out vs. coming in

  • Relationships (dating, long-term, marriage)

  • Self-acceptance and identity

  • Stereotypes and definitions of masculinity (within the gay community and outside it)

  • Finding community and friendship
